Overlooking Biscayne Bay, the Kimpton EPIC Hotel in downtown Miami will undergo a comprehensive renovation of its guestrooms and suites as well as the lobby and pool area. The renovation, which will begin this summer, is slated for completion this fall.
Ave Bradley, Kimpton’s creative director and global senior vice president of design, will lead the onsite update alongside the company’s senior design director Diana Martinez.
A delicate palette of white, wheat, and gray tones will offset notes of harbor blue in the redesigned lobby and reception spaces. Elements of black and bronze metals will emit a luxurious flair inspired by the location alongside woven linens, marble, and custom hardware. In addition, an expansive pool terrace on the 16th floor will be endowed with daybeds, sofas, and dining areas.
In guestrooms, driftwood-inspired headboards will add a localized touch, while hospitality and presidential suites will include wraparound balconies.
