Lark Hotels has announced the launch of its newest property, AWOL, in Provincetown, Massachusetts. The 30-room boutique concept overlooks the waterways of the West End within the transformed structure that was previously home to the Inn at the Moors.
Overhauled by Amesbury, Massachusetts-based design firm Butcher & Blood, the property highlights the setting’s natural beauty. With a bohemian spirit permeating throughout the interior, the hotel’s guestrooms and suites are equipped with a built-in platform bed as well as straw light fixtures, dune grass accents, minimalist black and white photography, and polished gray concrete floors.
All accommodations provide access to outdoor space: Guestrooms on the first floor boast hammocks and second-floor rooms feature balconies with daybeds. The signature 1,200-square-foot Lark suite includes a private roof deck, gas fireplace, and full kitchen.
Included among the onsite amenities are a heated pool, three firepits, communal tables for outdoor lounging, and an indoor-outdoor bar.
