Nobu Hospitality has launched the Nobu Hotel Marbella, its first hotel in Spain, conceived by Jean Pierre Martel of locally based M&P Archidesign Consulting as an artful reinterpretation of the brand’s sleek Japanese design influences.
Local materials line the interiors of the chic, minimalist setting. A contemporary medley of white-on-white décor is paired with natural oak details that create a calm and neutral atmosphere across both indoor and outdoor environments. Beyond the expansive, open-plan interior spaces is the Nobu Pool, detailed with a pagoda-style cabana at the foot of the stone pool, while the concept’s signature Nobu restaurant evokes an upscale playfulness in a setting crafted as a modern Japanese canteen. Pervasive wood infuses warmth in tandem with creamy leathers, while two floor-to-ceiling wine displays function as the restaurant’s focal points. In addition, the property also features the Nobu Lounge, a stylish space that reflects a worldly influence with vintage midcentury furnishings, and original artwork.
