The famed One Aldwych hotel in London’s Covent Garden will undergo a refurbishment led by English designer Robert Angell and local Fabled Studio. The hotel will remain open throughout the project, which is slated to kick off in October 2018; updates are expected to wrap up in March 2019.
Fabled Studio will oversee enhancements to the hotel’s public spaces, steered by the influence of Edwardian opulence. Meanwhile, Angell will upgrade the 86 guestrooms and 16 suites with a residential sense of luxury, richly layering the interiors with sophistication and texture to convey elegance. The renovation will also see the creation of four new one-bedroom suites.
