The Adelphi Hotel in Saratoga Springs, New York has reopened following a five-year overhaul from New York-based architect Glen & Company and Schenectady, New York-based practice Dominick Ranieri Architect. Endowed with distinctive and simple elegance, the historic property has been reimagined through a modern lens that accentuates its classic Victorian-style luxury.
Guests will be welcomed by 11-foot-tall ceilings and a grand staircase that stretches across all four stories at the heart of the communal space. The legendary hotel bar and social hub Morrisey’s has been revived on the main level, while the glass-enclosed conservatory-style restaurant the Blue Hen spans 1,200 square feet. The new 2,300-square-foot grand ballroom accommodates up to 250 guests when combined with the Blue Hen.
All 32 guestrooms have been reconfigured to maximize space and luxury. New additions include hardwood floors, custom furnishings, and heated floors in the bathroom. The spacious Owner’s Box suite features two master bedrooms, two living rooms, and a 400-square-foot library as well as a 500-square-foot terrace that overlooks downtown Saratoga Springs.
