Akaryn Hotel Group is set to further expand its portfolio with the introduction of the Akyra Sukhumvit Bangkok in February 2018. Situated in Bangkok’s dynamic Sukhumvit Soi 20, the upscale, boutique property will be crafted by locally based practice Paradigm Shift Studio, with a design concept that marries Western style with Thai culture and tradition.
The hotel’s 50 spacious guestrooms will be equipped with floor-to-ceiling glass doors that lead to roomy balconies that overlook the city. Simple materials like natural woods will accent modern-retro details conveyed through furnishings and original Thai artwork. The hotel will also be appointed with an upscale rooftop pool bar that is clad with sun loungers and cabanas and can host up to 100 guests.
