The Amari Yangshuo is slated to debut in the Chinese city of Guilin in early 2017. It is the country’s first Amari property. The four-story, 73-room hotel will be managed by ONYX Hospitality Group, which also operates the Shama and OZO brands. Enveloped by mountains, the Amari Yangshuo will feature scenic waterfront and karst peak views as well as a Thai-influenced design.
The hotel will introduce the Amaya Food Gallery, its onsite eatery that draws influence from Asian street food markets. The 3,695-square-foot dining concept will be equipped with interactive kitchens highlighting an array of cuisines. Also included is the brand’s signature Breeze Spa, which will offer Thai- and Chinese-inspired wellness specialties.
Amari is currently has a 14-property portfolio including upcoming locations in Asian cities such as Yunnan, China; Galle, Sri Lanka; and Johor Bahru, Malaysia.
