Anantara Angkor Resort in Siem Reap, Cambodia has reopened with revamped suites, restaurants, and common areas.
All 39 suites, accented with teak wood trimmings and sandstone sculptures reminiscent of famed Apsara dancers, received full upgrades. Premier suites now boast bathtubs, while premier terrace suites feature private plunge pools. Anantara and Sothea suites feature private gardens, and those on the second floor enjoy in-suite al fresco dining. Sothea suites also include a whirlpool Jacuzzi. Bathrooms now include wardrobes, vanities, rain showers, and a spa room. Newly installed Jim Thompson Explorer suites range from 1,916 to 2,529 square feet and can be outfitted with Thai silk and bold colors.
The new Chi Restaurant merges local sensibilities with contemporary artistry, highlighted by brass chandeliers.
