Minor Hotels has announced that it will further expand its Middle East presence with the launch of Anantara Sharjah Resort in the United Arab Emirates in mid-2020. The beachfront new build will house 233 keys, and feature accommodations ranging from deluxe rooms to luxury suites. Additional facilities will include male and female spas and wellness centers, a kids’ club, swimming pool, 540-person ballroom, and a variety of F&B spaces including a specialty concept located on the property’s pier.
Four of the Minor Hotels brands—Anantara, AVANI, Tivoli, and Oak—are represented across three properties in the Middle East. The company currently oversees 157 hotels and resorts in 24 countries.
