The second phase of upgrades has been unveiled at the andBeyond Nxabega Okavango Tented Camp in Botswana. The reopened camp features a wholly reimagined design conceived by Johannesburg-based hospitality design practice Fox Browne Creative.
Glamorous yet light, an earthy palette establishes a firm sense of place with locally inspired touches such as the interactive food and coffee bar. Dining spaces feature neutral colors enhanced with natural light thanks to cleverly installed mirrors. Located against the edge of the Okavango Delta, a rugged wooden fence encloses the open-air boma, which is also shaded by massive ebony trees. Along with a safari shop, the pool area has been upgraded with new salas and comfortable loungers positioned to maximize delta views, while a dedicated massage sala offers private massage treatments.
