The Kerry Hotel, Hong Kong is set to make its debut this month as the first new build on the Kowloon waterfront since 1995. Locally based architect and designer André Fu has crafted the 16-story property, which will also be home to more than 1,000 artworks sourced from across Asia.
The hotel will maximize its waterside location with expansive landscaped gardens framing views of the setting that surrounds Victoria Harbor. The lobby’s Curved glass windows span 26 feet-foot-tall windows will link the manicured outdoors with the interior design.
More than 60 percent of the 546 guestrooms and suites will also enjoy panoramic views through floor-to-ceiling windows. Accommodations will range in size from the 452-square-foot Deluxe category to the 3,165-square-foot Presidential suite. A 3,230-square-foot Club Lounge will provide private reception, dining, and more.
Amenities will include an 82-foot-long outdoor pool, 24-hour fitness center, outdoor jogging track, and spa facilities as well as a Jacuzzi, steam bath, and sauna. Included among the five onsite F&B venues will be the lobby lounge; signature Chinese concept Hung Tong; Big Bay Café, home to seven live-action kitchens; Red Sugar Bar, clad with 270-degree views via a wraparound terrace; and the Dockyard food hall.
The hotel will house 17 meeting venues and outdoor terraces. A pillar-less ballroom spanning 19,998 square feet and an LED wall totaling 707 square feet are both the largest in the city.
