The 5-Star Apricot Hotel will open on December 14th in Hanoi, Vietnam.
The new property sits on a site with history dating back more than 1,000 years. Once part of a Ly Dynasty (1009-1225) hamlet, the location has been home to Nam Huong Temple, the French Chamber of Commerce, and the Phu Gia Hotel.
With a white French colonial façade, the property boasts panoramic views of Hoàn Kiếm Lake and Vietnamese art—such as paintings, sculptures, watercolors, and sketches—throughout its neoclassical interiors.
The 123-room hotel’s five categories of guestrooms and suites are dubbed Sketch, Canvas, Studio, Gallery, and Masterpiece in reference to the pieces featured throughout.
Amenities will include a rooftop terrace bar and heated pool; the signature Palette restaurant; L’Artiste restaurant, which will feature an open-style kitchen; the A’Telier lobby lounge; the ninth-floor Library lounge; a fitness center with floor-to-ceiling windows; and a spa.
The multi-level Avanti basement theater and ballroom will also feature a pneumatic stage that appears to hover between two floors, a floating DJ station, and a movable LED background wall.
