The Asbury Ocean Club has celebrated its highly anticipated arrival in Asbury Park, New Jersey. The luxury boutique retreat is designed by a team helmed by Anda Andrei (who also heads overall redevelopment efforts in Asbury Park), which also includes Bonetti/Kozerski Architecture, Handel Architects, Madison Cox, and Salt Hotels.
The gleaming bronze doors of the property lead to the arrival gallery on the fourth floor. Views from the gallery frame the pool deck, which serves as a natural extension of the interior with sunken beds and floor pillows beneath the trees. Positioned atop of the pool is the gall-enclosed Drawing Room, which functions as a living room, all-day eatery, bar, and point of retreat, while the Gallery operates as a casual indoor dining environment anchored by a large table carved from a single block of Italian wood. In addition, a fine dining concept is set to debut in 2020.
All 54 accommodations are crafted to mirror a private beach loft with high ceilings. Four one-bedroom configurations feature fully equipped kitchens, two baths, and a dining area linked to a living room and terrace.
