The third and largest AutoCamp glamping destination has debuted in Mariposa, California, just outside of Yosemite National Park. Santa Barbara, California-based Anacapa Architecture and San Francisco-based Geremia Design collaborated on the design of the luxury campsite populated with three cabin suites, 15 luxury tents, and 80 custom Airstream trailers.
The 35-acre AutoCamp Yosemite is also anchored by a spacious 4,000-square-foot clubhouse, which is home to a reception area, meeting space, artisanal marketplace, and indoor-outdoor lounges. The scenic roof deck and outdoor swimming pool are crafted with rough-hewn materials, while low-slung seating areas are appointed with firepits to promote engagement with the outdoors.
Each of the 31-foot-long trailers are outfitted with a queen bed, bathroom, small kitchen, and living areas. Heating and cooling technologies are installed to maximize comfort. Single-room canvas tents include a king bed, streamlined sofa, storage unit, and mini fridge, while gable-roofed wooden cabins are built to accommodate five guests with a kitchen, dining room, and front porch.
