Avani Hotels & Resorts, the upscale brand launched by Thailand-based Minor Hotel Group in 2011, has launched its first hotel in Thailand—Avani Atrium Bangkok.
Rebranded as Avani Atrium Bangkok, the property has undergone an $8 million refurbishment over the past 12 months, which includes guestrooms and suites, public areas including restaurants and bars, and the 12-story atrium lobby. The hotel blends contemporary style with an upbeat vibe.
Restaurants include Public and Pantry; Benihana, the Japanese teppanyaki restaurant, is set to open in early 2015. Seven meeting, boardroom, function, and ballroom venues cater to up to 400 people, with flexible layouts and seating options.
“We are excited to add Thailand to the growing list of countries our upscale Avani brand is present in, which is now five with a total of seven properties,” says Dillip Rajakarier, CEO of Minor Hotel Group. “For Minor Hotel Group, introducing our newest brand to our home market of Bangkok was very important to us, and we are confident that Avani is a great fit in this vibrant city.”
