Avani has announced its plans to expand into the Luang Prabang region of northern Laos with the opening of a 53-room outpost. The new Avani Luang Prabang will debut in March at the site of the transformed Azerai Hotel.
Interiors will draw influence from the building’s colonial French heritage yet the design approach is modern, functional, and elegant. The hotel’s French neoclassical architecture will mirror the style of the area’s grand villas. Guestrooms offer an open plan living experience with French louvered wood doors that open out to balconies overlooking either the onsite pool of private courtyard.
In addition to indoor-outdoor dining spaces, a bar will be installed above the sidewalks, equipped with a veranda to look upon the busy nearby market. The signature AvaniFit concept will boast a fitness center, pool, and pool bar, while the AvaniSpa will be outfitted with four treatment rooms as well as a communal relaxation area. A covered pavilion will span nearly 650 square feet to host outdoor events.
