Scottish brewery BrewDog has announced the opening of the world’s first “beer hotel” in Columbus, Ohio. Known as the DogHouse, the crowdfunded hotel was designed in-house and comprises 32 guestrooms at the site of its U.S. brewery. Select rooms are equipped with a wet bar, beer tap, built-in shower beer fridge, and views of the on-site sour beer facility. The design also includes an interactive beer museum, which illuminates the brewing process across 6,000 square feet.
In February 2018, BrewDog also revealed its plans to unveil an additional DogHouse at its headquarters in Aberdeenshire, Scotland, which is poised for arrival in 2019.
