For its 65th anniversary, the iconic Beverly Hilton hotel is debuting a fresh look by Texas-based firm, Paul Duesing Partners. Rolling out through 2019, the renovation is slated for completion in early 2020.
Encompassing all guestrooms and suites, key public spaces, meeting and events rooms, and signature restaurant, CIRCA 55, the comprehensive revamp will be marked by a contemporary approach to the rich glamour of the Hollywood Regency style, paying homage to the midcentury architecture of the landmark building.
The main lobby will have cozy feeling and aim to serve as the living room of the neighborhood, with details like the custom blush pink and gold carpet emblazoned with a modern starburst motif, a stylized take on the hotel’s iconic symbol. The secluded Oasis lobby, meanwhile, will incorporate floral fabrics and bright hues of pink, turquoise, and yellow. Guestrooms will be revamped with a residential vibe featuring notes of teal and slate, complemented by metallic and glass accents. In 2020, Circa 55 will brighten up with lively palm tree wallcoverings, blush pink seating, and dramatic pops of glossy black and white.
