The rebranded Conrad Bora Bora Nui—formerly the Hilton Bora Bora Nui Resort & Spa—will undergo a multimillion-dollar makeover from Bangkok-based BLINK Design. The 114-key resort, located on the islet of Motu To’opua, is slated to reopen in March 2017 with a bespoke French Polynesian style.
The revamped resort will offer 28 garden and beach villas and 86 overwater bungalows, including the locale’s only two-story presidential suites. Airy villas will enjoy plentiful sunlight exposure and panoramic lagoon views, and also feature locally sourced materials and custom details that establish an authentic sense of place.
Amenities include a fitness center, retail outlets, a mini-golf course, a Kids Club, and an al fresco deck with lagoon views. The full-service spa has eight treatment rooms, including one al fresco deck with views of the lagoon. Wedding facilities, outdoor venues, and more than 1,070 square feet of indoor meeting space will also be available onsite. The resort’s own private islet of Motu Tapu serves as an idyllic setting for weddings, dining, and other events.
Onsite dining includes a French brasserie with lagoon views, a Polynesian-Mediterranean beachfront eatery, a contemporary Chinese restaurant, a swim-up pool bar, and an overwater sunset bar and lounge.
