Canopy by Hilton has begun construction on its latest property in the Washington, DC suburb of Bethesda, Maryland. The Canopy by Hilton Washington, DC Bethesda North will be part of the new mixed-use Park & Rose development alongside restaurants, retail, residences, office space, and performance venues. The location is a joint venture between real estate developer the Buccini/Pollin Group and Federal Realty.
The 177-room hotel will include 23 suites and two three-bay Presidential suites. Drawing influence from the local surroundings, the property features popular DC F&B outlets, along with 4,350 square feet of meeting space including a 3,100-square-foot ballroom.
The property is expected to open in fall 2017.
