Construction of the Canopy by Hilton Toronto Yorkville hotel is on track to meet its November 2022 opening. The first Canadian outpost for the lifestyle brand will debut in the heart of Ontario’s capital and will be managed and owned by Easton’s Group of Hotels.
“Today is a significant milestone for the construction of this property and a testament to the skill and diligence of all parties involved,” says Reetu Gupta, chairwoman and ambassadress of the Gupta Group and Easton’s Group of Hotels. “We’re excited to bring Canada’s very first Canopy by Hilton hotel to Toronto. The hotel, with its premium location, will bring a unique blend of luxury, convenience, and urban living, offering a new way for guests near and far to experience the city.”
Locally based Studio Munge is spearheading the design of the 184-room hotel, which will comprise a unique, layered interior characterized by curved edges and organic motifs. Local artwork will complement the design, drawing a bond between nature and urbanism.
Onsite amenities will include a modern café, restaurant, retail boutique, a sleek indoor pool, yoga and fitness facilities, and meeting spaces.
