The Canopy by Hilton Charlotte SouthPark is set to mark the brand’s entry in North Carolina in spring 2020. Designed by the New York office of Wilson Associates, the property will draw inspiration from local Southern heritage while also embracing an English-style aesthetic.
Layered with textures and a whitewashed color palette, the clean and casual lobby will welcome visitors with a sense of grandeur influenced by traditional Southern residences. The adjacent Canopy Central Café & Bar will be populated with both traditional and modern furniture oriented around an open fireplace, while the grand ballroom’s carpeting is dressed in North Carolina tartan-inspired patterns and colors.
All 150 upscale guestrooms will feature reinterpreted half tester beds equipped with sculptural, wooden versions of draped fabric canopies.
