Coworking concept Canopy has added a third location in San Francisco’s Financial District crafted by its three cofounders, famous interior designer Yves Behar, Amir Mortazavi and Steve Mohebi.
Located across five stories of the iconic 555 California Street tower, the aptly named Canopy Financial District spreads across 10,000 square feet with 32 private offices hosting up to maximum 10 people to ensure intimacy. Silver, blue, and earthy tones evoke imagery of the foggy West Coast locale in harmony with brick and timber, while Douglas fir adds a touch of greenery inside, stretching across the floors beneath rough ceilings repainted with light gray. Composed of Blue Calcite marble and aluminum, the conference and communal tables populate spaces below bespoke light fixtures crafted locally.
“Designing our new output along with my friend and co-founder, Yves Behar to serve the unmet demands of the premium workspace segment has been a true labor of passion,” says cofounder and CEO Amir Mortazavi. “We build everything around our members’ needs—a generosity of space, ample natural light, easy flow between private and shared spaces—to ensure the overall Canopy experience is at once inspiring and serene.”
