London-based architecture and design studio DH Liberty has revealed its revamp of the city’s My Chelsea hotel. The boutique property draws upon the fecund gardens and botanical shops that populate the handsomely manicured London neighborhood.
The interior is reflective of a greenhouse, complete with abundant natural light and greenery that serves as an apt counterpoint to the monochromatic backdrop in the main conservatory. A bespoke light fixture of suspended globe lamps welcomes visitors as it illuminates green and gold accents, while geometric furniture is oriented meticulously along the white oak floors. The main dining area on the ground floor sits beneath a griddled glass ceiling, and includes walls painted raven-black as well as a pale fluted wall. A distressed bar is topped with stone. In addition to custom floral artwork, guestrooms feature bespoke light fixtures and hexagonal concrete tiles that line bathroom walls in honeycomb-like arrangements.
