Fashion and footwear designer Christian Louboutin has announced plans to enter the hospitality business with the debut of a 21-room hotel in Alentejo, Portugal. Designed by architect Madalena Caiado, the project is set to undergo construction next month and is slated for completion in summer 2020. A name for the property has not yet been announced.
The forthcoming hotel will integrate a new-build volume with existing buildings and highlight Louboutin’s eclectic taste across cozy interior settings. The onsite signature restaurant will also source local ingredients in an effort to infuse a definitive sense of place throughut the boutique concept.
