Developer Sterling Bay has confirmed that citizenM will make its debut in Chicago as part of the forthcoming mixed-use development at 300 North Michigan Avenue.
The 47-story property will be home to 25,000 square feet of retail, 289 residential units, and 280 hotel guestrooms and suites, in addition to the new citizenM Chicago Downtown. The brand’s regular Amsterdam-based collaborator concrete will conceive the project in collaboration with locally based bKL Architecture to instill a localized influence. The interiors will be designed in the brand’s signature modernist and engaging style through an eclectic range of furniture in tandem with contemporary artwork which reflects the best of the city.
