Conrad Hotels & Resorts has announced that it will assume management of the London NYC hotel. The 562-key will undergo a rebranding as the Conrad New York Midtown, following the completion of a thorough renovation from local firm Stonehill & Taylor in spring 2019. It will be the Hilton brand’s second New York outpost, following the launch of Conrad New York in Lower Manhattan in 2012.
The refresh will see the overhaul of all accommodations, corridors, public spaces, and vertical transportation. In addition to a new dining concept, the redesign will also feature a large fitness facility and 4,800 square feet of flexible meeting space. Averaging more than 500 square feet, all guestrooms will feature suite-style layouts with dramatic city views.
