The Cove on Paradise Island at the Atlantis in the Bahamas has introduced a series of enhancements following a refresh. HBA spearheaded the guestroom redesign while Jeffrey Beers International (JBI) oversaw the creation of new guestrooms and updates to the pool and cabanas.
Alongside JBI, artist, textile, jewelry, and accessories designer Lulu DK has transformed the pool and surrounding cabanas into a vibrant, beachside sanctuary. Each one is revamped with handcrafted, bespoke surfboard art and signature fabric designs reminiscent of the island’s natural scenery. Overlooking the redesigned pool area, the new eatery Sip Sip from chef Julie Lightbourn has arrived with a spacious beachside deck. Led by Bahamian architect Mark Henderson with assistance from JBI, the space boasts vibrant décor and artwork that recalls the original outpost of the eatery.
Fish by José Andrés will join the property’s F&B lineup in February 2018, and feature a palette inspired by the sea.
