Ocean Properties is planning to open Opal Sands Resort, an Opal Collection hotel, this March in Clearwater Beach, Florida.
The 15-story luxury property is located near the boardwalk, Tampa International Airport, and St. Pete-Clearwater International Airport.
The white sand beaches inspired the design by Design Duncan Miller Ullmann, who outfitted the 230 guestrooms in contemporary décor, stylized wood accents, and touches of blue and turquoise. Each will also offer a private balcony overlooking the ocean.
Amenities will include more than 25,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor event space, 5,500 square feet of lawn event space, a zero-entry outdoor pool and sun deck, a fitness center, spa, retail outlets, as well as Sea-guini restaurant and outdoor tiki bar, Sandbar.
