Destination Hotels has expanded its portfolio of independent hotels with the historic Marker – Union Square, located in downtown San Francisco.
Built in 1910, the 208-room property features a Beaux Arts-style interior and was originally the Bellevue Hotel and most recently Hotel Monaco before being repositioned under Destination management. It sits near Union Square, surrounded by an array of restaurants, retail outlets, and theaters. Those looking to stay in can visit the hotel’s signature BDK Restaurant + Bar.
Following its extensive restoration, including to event spaces this year, the hotel makes a statement with its domed lobby, which houses a floor-to-ceiling fireplace and grand marble staircase.
Additional amenities include more than 11,000 square feet of meeting space, a fitness center, and in-room spa services.
