Sbe subsidiary Disruptive Restaurant Group has announced its first partnership with Denihan Hospitality Group to develop and oversee the F&B concepts housed at the forthcoming James West Hollywood – Sunset hotel.
Arriving at the 286-room hotel will be the second outpost of the Michael Schwartz-led Italian concept Fi’lia. In addition to the onsite restaurant, the lobby bar will feature a unique and convivial atmosphere created in part by mixology partner Zachary Patterson of Melrose Umbrella Co. The F&B spaces will be created by Los Angeles-based Wendy Haworth Design, which crafted LA restaurants such as Gracias Madre, Café Gratitude, and sbe’s forthcoming Cleo LA. An elevated grab-and-go marketplace will also be installed in the lobby, exuding the qualities of a casual café.
The James, designed by SOM, will be West Hollywood’s first ground-up project in nearly three decades. The property will offer a lavish pool and 10,000 square feet of flexible event space, including a ballroom, meeting rooms, and other facilities. It is slated for a January 2017 opening.
