Eden Roc Miami Beach has emerged from a $250 million makeover courtesy of Malibu-based design firm Studio PCH. The refurbishment embraces the vibrant yet mysterious spirit of Miami, while also evoking a laidback sensibility.
Sand-like carpeting sweeps across the interior in harmony with palm-inspired wallcoverings and naturally toned furnishings. Accented with brass and red tones, the soft color palette accentuates a coastal ambiance complemented by teak wood and retro furnishings that pay homage to the hotel’s heritage. Guestrooms are outfitted with new details as well, from wallcoverings to light fixtures, for a tropical flair.
Rockwell Group spearheaded the redesign of the hotel’s renowned 16-seat lobby bar as well as a new outpost from Nobu. The outdoor beach bar concept Gitano also joins the hotel’s F&B lineup, while the restaurant Malibu Farm is expected to arrive in the future. The onsite spa is set to return as the Esencia Spa, which will be home to 18 treatment cabins and a relaxation room spread across 22,000 square feet. The facility will include a 3,000-square-foot fitness center and the hair and nail salon Esencia Beauty.
