Goodman Charlton has unveiled the design of the Empire Hotel’s Empire Rooftop in Manhattan. Spanning 8,000 square feet, the upscale venue is the second largest in New York, comprising three separate spaces. The West Terrace is clad with a retractable roof, fireplace, and bar, while the East Terrace boasts the backdrop of the hotel’s iconic Empire Hotel signage. The Main Lounge or interior room is also attached.
The blend of dark wood tones, chrome, and glass infuse a contemporary aesthetic into the space, allowing each area to flow organically into one another. A 20-seat granite bar is installed in the eclectic setting along with sleek sofas and ottomans for added seating and coziness. Outdoor spaces are accented with wall gardens and anchored by club-style sofas dressed in rich hues of sunset orange.
