London-based developer Ennismore has announced plans to launch the new budget hotel brand NoCo with 25 locations across the UK by 2018. The concept will feature locations with 150 to 200 guestrooms at a rate of less than $150 per night.
“Traveling habits and demands have changed; as has the way that people now use hotels,” says Ennismore CEO Sharan Pasricha. “Our aim is to raise the bar for affordable hotels and provide business and leisure travelers with a stylish alternative to bland, cookie-cutter hotels so often found in cities outside of London.”
Guests will be able to complete booking and check-in through a custom app. Each property is expected to include compact but comfortable guestrooms and bar and restaurant spaces crafted by operators of local eateries.
Ennismore previously opened trendy London hotels such the Hoxton and the Hoxton Shoreditch, and also acquired the 5-Star luxury spa and golf resort Gleneagles in Scotland’s Perthshire county.
