French hospitality brand Evok Hotels Collection has announced the launch of its fourth Parisian property, Cour des Vosges, in the fashionable Le Marais neighborhood. Launching as an extended stay concept, the new property is home to 12 luxury guestrooms and suites, in addition to a tearoom, restaurant, and roman bath, all crafted by locally based architecture practice Lecoadic-Scotto.
Drawing influence from the history of France as well the artful and fashion-forward Le Marais, the interiors of the boutique concept merge the heritage of the site—the former Hôtel de Montbrun—with a contemporary vernacular. Beneath the structure’s original ceiling beams from the 17th century, the hotel’s public spaces now echo the elegant art de vivre of bygone Parisian mansions, while the accommodations span its four floors, lined with painted wood ceiling.
Ensuring a delicate taste, antique mirrors and artwork are installed throughout the guestrooms, in addition to lacquered screens and sliding walls. The seating inside are wrapped in pastel blue and pink upholstery, while four-poster beds are reimagined with a steel canopy.
