Faraway Hotels is growing its footprint with two new destinations.
The boutique hospitality brand—developed by Blue Flag Capital, Collared Martin Hospitality, and Bain Capital Real Estate—will launch locations in Sag Harbor, New York and Jackson Hole, Wyoming in summer 2026.
“Faraway Sag Harbor is a natural next chapter in our coastal story, carrying forward the seaside charm, maritime heritage, and thoughtful design we’ve honed in Nantucket and Martha’s Vineyard, now reimagined for a new harborside destination,” says Jason Brown, CEO and cofounder of Blue Flag Capital.
“With Jackson Hole, we’re entering a new chapter for Faraway,” Brown continues. “It marks our first move beyond coastal destinations, allowing us to immerse ourselves in a completely different sense of place—one shaped by a sense of adventure and a deep connection to nature—while continuing to offer the rich, layered experiences our guests have come to expect.”
Faraway Sag Harbor
In the Hamptons, the historic Baron’s Cove will transform into the 67-room Faraway Sag Harbor. The design of the waterfront retreat will evoke the feeling of an elegant seaside compound—collected, layered, and full of character—with lush gardens, patios, and a pool deck.
At the heart of the property will be flagship restaurant Zagara, inspired by the rhythm of Amalfi Coast living and designed to flow from day to night.
Faraway Jackson Hole
Out West, Faraway Jackson Hole will reinterpret the storied Snake River Lodge & Spa at the base of Jackson Hole Mountain in Teton Village.
Blending alpine heritage with Faraway’s immersive, free-spirited ethos, the reimagined property will introduce new guestrooms and gathering spaces alongside a restaurant, lobby lounge, and cocktail club Surehand.
Textural, layered interiors will bring a sense of warmth and craft to the mountain setting, while outdoor excursions and cozy communal areas encourage connection.
“Inspiration at first sight is crucial for any property we consider. We seek a certain indescribable spark in each location. Sag Harbor and Jackson Hole are no different,” says Brad Guidi, CDO and cofounder of Blue Flag Capital, who is also spearheading the designs of both hotels. “We are shaping two very different worlds that share the same DNA: thoughtful design, layered storytelling, and spaces that encourage connection and discovery.”
