Located outside Monterey in Marina, California, the Sanctuary Beach Resort has announced the launch of the Spa at Sanctuary. Installed upon 19 beachfront acres, the Spa at Sanctuary reflects the beauty of its surroundings in its design as well as its holistic approach to wellness.
Designed by New Orleans-based architecture firm Farouki Farouki, the new space draws inspiration from the rich scenery of the Pacific coast. Accessed via the main lodge of the resort, the space is punctuated with natural wooden accent beams, warm custom gold fixtures, and polished concrete floors. A color palette of sandy tones and sea blue hues instill a sense of tranquility. Oversized lounge chairs populate the relaxation room, while a soothing light blue tone adorns the walls of three treatment rooms. Each of the treatment rooms are also appointed with massage tables, soft lighting, cozy rugs, large armchairs, and beach imagery.
