The Palace Elisabeth is set to debut this September as the first 5-Star hotel concept of Hvar Island, Croatia.
Home to 45 guestrooms and suites, the property overlooks one of the largest main squares of the country and the Dalmatian sea. Zagreb-based architecture firm Agro Inženjering and Croatian designer Oto Bláha handled the revamp of the property with a design that reflects a heritage that stretches back nearly eight centuries, incorporating Venetian and Austrian architectural elements, which were preserved during the renovations.
Accommodations range between 215 to over 530 square feet, while the hotel’s spa features dual saunas installed alongside a 200-foot-long indoor swimming pool and bar, and a terrace populated with 20 sunbeds. Situated atop the iconic Loggia, two low-reliefs of the famous Venetian lion, is the spacious onsite Mediterranean restaurant San Marco that spans more than 1,700 square feet, including the outdoor space. In addition, a bar and lounge terrace, cigar lounge, and saloon round out the property’s chic F&B options.
