ForrestPerkins has completely renovated 241 guestrooms and suites at Turnberry Isle Miami, an Autograph Collection hotel.
The firm worked under the direction of Jackie Soffer, co-chairman and CEO of Turnberry Associates, while collaborating with Lisa Stein, a designer with Turnberry Associates.
Located within the Aventura, Florida property’s Jasmine and Magnolia towers, newly unveiled accommodations feature a light and bright atmosphere with private balconies, contemporary furnishings, and décor inspired by regional flora. A neutral color palette complements textural fabrics within the rooms, which range from 500 to more than 2,400 square feet. Each was reimagined with new carpet, drapery, linens, chrome metal accents, and modern art.
Also revamped were the hotel’s two 2,400-square-foot Grand Presidential suites, located in the Jasmine tower, which boast six-person dining rooms, fully equipped kitchens, private studies, living areas, and private terraces. In the master bedrooms, sconces flank large headboards, while master baths offer jet tubs, oversized glass showers, and double vanities. A crisp palette throughout juxtaposes the original wood paneling.
ForrestPerkins also worked with Stein to redesign the hotel’s Hibiscus tower guestrooms last year.
