Innovative wellness brand Sensei, and Four Seasons Hotels & Resorts are set to unveil their collaborative Hawaiian retreat the Four Seasons Hotel Lanai at Koele, A Sensei Retreat in the Lanai island of the archipelago. Transformed by Todd- Avery Lenahan of TAL-Studio, the 96-key boutique haven offers a science-based, personal program tailored to the individual needs of each guest.
“The large grand space of the retreat has been re-sculpted, with a more than 80-foot long glass wall overlooking the verdant gardens bringing the landscape inside. Extraordinary works of art are commissioned exclusively for the property. Overall, we wanted to create an environment set amid this mountain location that inspired all senses to ascend,” says Lenahan. “The interior design features a new architectural frieze-band telling a visual story of the island’s geography, while vibrant hues of the nature are set against a serene color palette, offering a balanced setting for well-being,” he adds.
Among the many amenities of the retreat includes the soaring Great Room, and new dining concept Sensei by Nobu incorporating ingredients harvested from Sensei’s on-island sustainable farm, with optional dining at the resort’s private spa.
