Four Seasons Hotels has announced that the Les Chalets du Mont d’Arbois, Megève, will join its sister property Four Seasons Hotel Megève in the French Alps this December. The historic property will be fully rebranded and renovated by Thierry Curty under the artistic direction of frequent Four Seasons collaborator Pierre-Yves Rochon.
The property comprises three chalets named for the first three daughters of Benjamin and Ariane de Rothschild. The charming Chalet Eve, the main chalet, will house 25 guestrooms and suites as well as the Michelin-Starred Prima Restaurant and an indoor-outdoor spa. First constructed as a private family retreat in 1927 by French architect Henry Jacques Le Même, Chalet Noémie will provide a more exclusive lodging experience distinguished by a an elegant farmhouse aesthetic reinterpreted through a modern lens. Built as an extension to Chalet Noémie in 2005, Chalet Alice will also feature a more exclusive stay but for larger groups, boasting a bohemian-chic aesthetic. Wood-framed windows, exposed beams, aged pine, rough stone, and traditional alpine fabrics will be included within each space alongside a medley of textures.
