The Four Seasons Hotel and Private Residences is set to launch its first property in New Orleans and is slated to rise 33 stories above Canal Street in 2020.
Home to 341 keys as well as 81 residences, the property will be housed within the 2 Canal Street development. The historic structure, first designed by Edward Durell Stone, will undergo a restoration and modernization to accommodate the contemporary traveler. The address will also be home to more than 22,500 square feet of amenities like the Spanish-themed 29th floor, which will house an upscale bar and lounge, children’s playroom, private dining room, historic hall and communal dining room, and golf simulator. A new wing of amenities will also feature a 75-foot-long outdoor swimming pool and hot tub, fitness center, and Four Seasons Spa. The rotating rooftop will overlook the complex’s 7,500-square-feet of lush onsite greenery as well.
