The Homestead hotel in Evanston, Illinois has been acquired by AJ Capital Partners to become the latest entry in the Graduate Hotels portfolio. The comprehensive refurbishment of the property will kick off early next year, and be completed by fall 2020.
Located in the heart of Evanston just blocks away from the Northwestern University landmark Weber Arch and Lake Michigan, the revamp of the eight-story, 91-key hotel will be handled by the brand’s in-house design team, and will include all accommodations, public spaces, and its façade. In addition, a new restaurant and café will replace the site’s existing eatery.
Currently operating 20 units across the U.S., Graduate Hotels is poised to grow its national footprint with an additional 13 hotels by the end of next year.
