The London offices of Dallas-based firm HKS Architects has announced that it will collaborate with London-based interior designer Russell Sage to craft a new members-only social club in Los Angeles. The h Club LA is set to arrive in Hollywood in February 2019 as the London-based concept’s maiden U.S. property.
Spread across five floors, the concept will comprise 35 guestrooms inspired by the Modern Grand Tour of Europe and a slew of amenities including coworking spaces and a fitness center. Featured among the three F&B options will be a tearoom as well as a rooftop dining space connected to a desert garden influenced by the work of English film director Derek Jarman. The rooftop will also be outfitted with a cinema and an outdoor pooldeck. Artwork from local and international artists will be installed in private and public areas of the property, including rare photography sourced from the collection of Capitol Records, whose offices are located across the street. A music studio and screening room will round out the luxe onsite offerings.
