Hard Rock International has announced plans to further expand its presence throughout Asia-Pacific with the development of the Hard Rock Hotel Desaru Coast in the southeastern Malaysian state of Johor. Launching in partnership with tourism group Themed Attractions Resorts & Hotels, the 365-room resort property will encompass entertainment, restaurants, retail, a waterpark, and 45 holes of golf.
The Hard Rock Hotel Desaru Coast will include the Rock Star suite reimagined penthouse, the Roxity Kids Club, Rock Royalty Lounge, and the signature Rock Spa, equipped with two outdoor treatment rooms and music-infused spa treatments. The brand’s music amenities program the Sound of Your Stay allows guests to enjoy interactive musical experiences like in-room jam sessions. F&B options include an all-day restaurant, a fast-casual eatery, and a poolside bar and grill.
The resort, part of the first phase of the Desaru Coast development, is set to open in fall 2017.
