The Hard Rock portfolio will expand into Ireland in 2020 with the launch of the Hard Rock Dublin. Located on Lord Edward Street, the centrally located hotel will span two structures—the Fashion House Building and an existing Exchange Building from the early 20th century that currently serves as the home of the Parliament Hotel. The former will be entirely rebuilt and overhauled to serve as the hotel’s entrance and reception space.
Retaining its original red brick façade, the updated Parliament building will feature reimagined interiors that embrace a musical theme. Infusing a contemporary sensibility into the project, a glass bridge will link the two adjacent volumes. All 120 guestrooms and suites will be adorned with warm fumed woods, stone surfaces, bespoke carpeting, jewel tones, and vibrant fabrics. Along with a casual bar concept, other communal spaces will be appointed with intimate booths as well as eclectic fittings and furnishings. In addition to the traditional breadth of music memorabilia, the hotel will also include complimentary vinyl record players, records, and Fender guitars for jam sessions.
