The Four Seasons Hotel Singapore is set to reveal a series of renovated guestrooms later this month, courtesy of Hirsch Bedner Associates (HBA). Inspired by the nearby Singapore Botanic Gardens, the redesign will comprise contemporary interiors renovated with a natural color palette that includes accents of blue and lime green in homage to the water and tropical lotus leaves of the Gardens’ Swan Lake.
In addition to floor-to-ceiling windows, a mural wall will be installed in each revamped room, composed of traditional Peranakan tiles that reflect the artistic and rich multicultural heritage of Singapore. Residential-style executive suites will house separate living and sleeping areas that allow for increased privacy in addition to expansive spa-like bathrooms. White colonial-style doors will be featured alongside plantation shutters that recall Singapore’s colonial history and welcome natural light.
One-bedroom suites will boast high ceilings, large bay windows, and private living spaces, while deluxe and boulevard rooms will overlook the surrounding greenery and the bustling Orchard Road, respectively. The premier room will include semi-wraparound bay windows as well as spacious bathrooms crafted with marble furnishings.
