The JW Marriott Desert Springs in Palm Desert, California is set to unveil its comprehensive refresh at the hand of studio HBA, slated for an opening in January 2020.
Spread across 450 acres, the reimagined grand lobby of the property will feature carefully crafted details, such as water displays and art installations, and anchored by the JW Activity Table, one of the many elements in the hotel’s public spaces promoting collaboration. Among the 884 accommodations of the hotel will be 101 new suites, including the 1,768-square-foot Chairman’s suite, featuring an oversized whirlpool tub, plush living room seating, a formal dining area, office space, and 350-square-foot balcony overlooking the lake.
The upgraded hotel will also feature a 234,000 square feet of event space, like the midcentury-style Sinatra Ballroom, in addition to other 37 meeting rooms. Totaling 38,000 square feet, the Spa at Desert Springs will round out the onsite amenities with 48 treatment rooms and a spacious VIP suite.
