The Curio Collection by Hilton is celebrating a major milestone with the debut of its 60th property and its first in Africa. The new Legend Hotel Lagos Airport, Curio Collection by Hilton also marks another major accomplishment for Hilton, boasting the denomination as the company’s 500th hotel in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.
The landmark hotel is located at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, which hosts more than eight million annual travelers. Defined by Art Deco-style interiors, the ultra-modern hotel houses 64 spacious guestrooms and suites—all of which feature a chaise lounge, ergonomic workspace, and a bathroom with separate showers and bathtubs. The hotel’s two presidential suites are equipped with private terraces anchored by a bar and whirlpool. In addition to nearly 1,300 square feet of meeting space, the property includes the De Bull restaurant and bar and the stylish Sky Lounge. An indoor swimming pool, steam room, and 24-hour fitness center are also housed onsite.
Hilton currently operates a total of 41 African hotels as maintains 53 units across the continent in its development pipeline. The company is expected its double its African portfolio over the next five years.
