Hilton Worldwide has added Augusta, Georgia’s Partridge Inn to its Curio – A Collection by Hilton portfolio.
The 105-year-old, 144-room property was built in the 1800s, reconstructed in the 1980s, and is now being restored in a multimillion-dollar renovation after its purchase by NorthPointe Hospitality Management. Heading the project is Atlanta-based Sims Patrick Studio.
Having begun its final phases last November, the refresh will juxtapose preserved historic architectural features with a modern interior when it is complete this October. In the lobby, neutral cream and white furnishings will be juxtaposed with dark rugs and warm earth tones. The guestrooms, bathrooms, P.I. Bar & Grill restaurant, and verandas will also receive a total overhaul.
